How do I reserve an apartment from Forenom?

Why can't I reserve an available apartment for the day I want? 

A reservation cannot begin until the day after the apartment becomes available.

 

Why do prices vary for the same apartment? 

Prices vary according to the length of the rental period and what termination period you select when reserving the apartment. A longer agreement with a long termination period is always more economical than a short agreement.

 

What information does Forenom need to make a reservation? 

To make a reservation, we need to know whose name the reservation will be in. The agreement can be made either in the name of an individual or a company. To make the reservation we need the personal identity number/passport number or a company's VAT number. In addition, for the accommodations card we need up-to-date contact information (home address, email address and phone number) as well as information about all tenants.

 

Can I get an apartment even if I have an adverse entry on my credit report? 

We can make an agreement in this type of situation. In such a case, the entire price of the accommodation and security deposit is paid in advance.

 

How is payment made? 

The reservation can be paid for online or with a bank/credit card. Forenom accepts the following cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Visa Electron and Finnish domestic bank cards. Wire transfers are also accepted.

 

How many hours is the reservation in effect? 

A reservation without confirmation is in effect for 24 hrs.

 

Are Forenom's apartments furnished? 

All Forenom's apartments are furnished, and their price includes water and heating costs. Services to help your day-to-day life (for example cleaning service) are also available.

 

My Accommodation agreement begins next Tuesday. When can I get the key? 

You can get the key from our office on Tuesday between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. You can also order the key to be delivered to you, and we will deliver it to your personally.

 

I will be arriving late in the evening. How can I get my keys? 

If you are not able to pick up the keys during office hours, contact Customer Service well ahead of time and make arrangements for the keys to be delivered (where and when the keys need to be delivered). Please note that this service is at additional cost.

If you are not able to get the keys yourself, you can provide Customer Service with the identity information of the person who will pick them up. We will surrender the keys to the designated person after verifying identity information.

 

Key delivery service 

You can order key delivery service from Customer Service. To ensure smooth delivery of the keys, please request the service at the time you make the reservation, or at the latest on the day before the agreement begins.

 

Who handles cleaning Forenom's apartments? 

Our own service team is responsible for the condition and maintenance of our apartments. If you would like to order cleaning or linen service, please contact Customer Service by telephone +7 921 344 61 10.

Please note, though, that tidiness of the apartment is the responsibility of the tenant, if you have not ordered cleaning service.

 

I need an extra bed in my room. Is that possible? 

As long as the size classification of the apartment allows it, we can deliver additional furnishings according to our price list.

 

Do Forenom's prices include electricity? 

Electricity and water costs are included in the price of Forenom's apartments.

 

Are pets allowed? 

We generally do not allow pets in our apartments. This is allowed only with special permission from Forenom in some of our apartments. Please ask Customer Service for details.

 

The washing machine or other appliance in my apartment isn't working. What should I do? 

Call our Customer Service number +7 921 344 61 10 and report the problem as soon as possible after you notice it.

 

How do I terminate the agreement?

Where and when can I return my key? 

At the end of the rental period, the tenant is responsible for returning the keys to Forenom till 2 p.m. You can return the keys to our office during business hours. Outside of office hours you can leave the keys at the security of the Suomi-talo Business Center. You can also order a separate key return service.

If the key is not returned at the end of the agreement, we will charge the Customer for the cost of changing the locks.

 

At the end of the rental period, do I need to clean the apartment myself? 

The apartment must be left in good, tidy condition when you move out. By ordering a final cleaning from Forenom, you can enjoy your apartment care-free until the very last day of your rental period. The price of final cleaning varies by apartment, and is always more economical when ordered in advance. You can order final cleaning service at the time you make your reservation or by calling Forenom's Customer Service during the rental period.

You can also do the final cleaning yourself. There are cleaning supplies in the apartment for that purpose.

 

When and how will the security deposit be returned? 

The deposit will be returned to the account you designated within 10 to 30 working days of the end of the rental agreement and fulfilment of the terms of the agreement.
